2. The Google services you can connect

The Service offers an optional integration that lets you connect your own Google account. When you choose to connect, you grant the Service permission to access specific parts of your Google account through the Google APIs described below. You are never required to connect your Google account to use the Service.

• Gmail (scope: gmail.send) — We use this permission to send emails on your behalf from your own Gmail address. This includes recruitment outreach to candidates, interview invitations, shortlist presentations to clients, and other messages you compose within the Service. We do not read, scan, or analyse the contents of your inbox. We only send messages that you explicitly author.
• Google Calendar (scope: calendar.events) — We use this permission to create and update calendar events on your calendar for interviews and meetings that you schedule within the Service. We do not read or modify any other events on your calendar.

3. What information we access

When you connect your Google account, we access only:

• Your email address, to identify your account and send email from your address.
• Your basic Google profile information (name), to personalise messages.
• The content of emails you compose and choose to send through the Service.
• The calendar events we create on your behalf for interviews and meetings.

We do not access, store, or process any other data from your Google account. We do not use your Gmail content for advertising, and we do not share your Google data with third parties for advertising purposes.

4. How we use your information

• To send emails you compose within the Service from your own Gmail address.
• To create interview and meeting events on your Google Calendar.
• To maintain a record of messages you have sent, so you can track recruitment activity.
• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.

5. How we store and protect your data

Access tokens issued by Google are stored securely and used only to perform the actions described above. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS) and restricted access controls. Tokens are never shared with other users of the Service and are scoped to your individual account.

6. Data retention

We retain a log of emails you have sent (recipient, subject, timestamp) for as long as your account is active, so you can track recruitment activity. You may delete these records at any time. If you disconnect your Google account, we revoke and delete the associated access tokens immediately.

7. Sharing your data

We do not sell your data. We share information only as necessary to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, or protect our rights. Emails you send through the Service are delivered to the recipients you choose.

8. Your rights and choices

• You can disconnect your Google account at any time from within the Service, which revokes our access.
• You can review and revoke the Service's access to your Google account at any time in your Google Account security settings (myaccount.google.com).
• You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.

9. Compliance with Google's policies

Our use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the scopes necessary to provide the Service, and we do not transfer or use data received from Google APIs for any purpose other than providing the features you have requested.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date above.
